This is a RARE ORIGINAL 1969 Fantasy Records promotional cardboard store display sign/PROMO poster for the Creedence Clearwater Revival - Bayou Country album!
It's a poster of the album art, affixed/glued to an oversized, textured cardboard mat board.
This is how the ORIGINAL display was sent out!
The mat board measures approximately 25.25" x 21.25" and the poster is 19" x 15."
It's in VERY GOOD shape!
The corners of the mat board have tack holes and there's a stain on the mat, on the right side.
The poster itself is near perfect.
We've been doing this for MANY years and this is the FIRST time we've seen one of these.
-Because of the item's large size, we have purchased special extra thick to assure it will arrive safely. We will ship this item to the U.S. ONLY.
Promo displays were manufactured by record companies to promote new releases. They were sent out to record shops and displayed for a short time until the next week's releases, and then discarded.
