    This auction is for a vintage SINGLE western cowboy spur
    I have found no maker's marking, but this spur appears in the August Buermann catalog as model 31 BUERMANN EUREKA spurs made between 1870 and 1926
    It is stamped near one button - T'L FEB
    Each side has an etched five point star with a design in center
    The shank is offset, see image
    Fixed button with heel chain
    Leathers are in poor shape
    Rowel is complete and moves freely
    Over half of plating is worn away
    Overall surface rust and moderate to heavy signs of wear
    Soiling present
    I have found no rotten areas, cracks or breaks
    heel opening measures a little over 3 inches wide - inside measurement
    Single spur with leather weighs 4.8 ounces - prior to packaging
