    1800's CIVIL WAR ERA SPUR
    We think the metal is Bronze or Brass and and has a rusted Rowel and one buckle
    We did not see any makers mark on it

    This spur and several others that we are listing today had been hiding somewhere for a very long time before we got them.  We have had them for quite some time as well and I just got them out of storage.  If these could only talk what stories they could tell. Each of these old single spurs we are listing today are really neat and special. This has been hand forged and the workmanship is very good, this is a very heavy and honest spur.
    The total length of this Spur is 5"
    The spread is about 3 1/4" across
    The Rowel is of iron and rusted solid but you can tell the shape of it
